hills!!

We biked 18.6 km tonight … wanted to do more, but the hills were a challenge.

I just finished comparing the hills tonight to the hill(s) we’ll be facing for our first tri. In comparison, what we did tonight was much higher on the elevation (and difficulty) scale. I think anyway… any thoughts?

Here are the details.
Today’s elevations: max 389 m (1277 feet) and min 347 m (1139 feet), ascent = ?, descent = ?

Triathlon’s elevations: max 325 m (1065 feet) and min 174 m (572 feet), ascent = 125 m (410 feet), descent = 127 m (416 feet)
